Welcome to Maritime Hearth. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Maritime Hearth website (the "Site") or any services provided by Maritime Hearth ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Site or Services. Maritime Hearth reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site or Services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Service Commissioning & Quotations

All service requests and custom project inquiries are subject to a detailed quotation process. Quotations provided by Maritime Hearth are valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Acceptance of a quotation requires a signed agreement and, in most cases, an upfront deposit as specified in the quotation. Project timelines are estimates and may vary based on material availability, project complexity, and unforeseen circumstances. Any significant changes to the project scope requested by the client after the commencement of work may result in additional charges and revised timelines.

3. Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, artistic works, and content created by Maritime Hearth, whether presented on this Site or as part of a commissioned project, remain the intellectual property of Maritime Hearth unless otherwise explicitly stated in a written agreement. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

4. Payments & Invoicing

Payment terms will be outlined in the project quotation and subsequent invoices. Typically, a deposit is required to commence work, with progress payments or final payments due upon completion or milestones. All payments are to be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by law. In case of non-payment, Maritime Hearth reserves the right to cease work, withhold deliverables, and pursue collection legal remedies.

5. Warranties & Limitations of Liability

Maritime Hearth strives to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. Specific warranties for custom work will be detailed in the project agreement. We do not warrant that your use of our Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maritime Hearth shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our Services.
